The Legends Collide (Part 15)

Achilles was still lying on the ground; but he was in the water. He wondered how he could still breathe. Perseus was even cooler than he had thought, calling upon the power of Poseidon. He must have had a close relationship with his uncle, because the gods did not give power freely at all.
The water started to drain out of the room and Achilles noticed everyone else laying on the ground.
Thor got up, coughing. "I did not know you were a puny weakling, Achilles." He said.
Achilles scowled at him, saying, "I just, for some reason, require more rest than other people. It is the only weakness of mine that I know of."
   "Pfff," Thor said. "As if."
Achilles rolled his eyes. He glanced at everyone else and saw Mau'i getting up. Soon everyone else got up and Achilles was the only one left on the ground. Arthur helped him up.
A door opened, and Yoda came out of it, sipping something out of a cup.
"Did I miss anything?" He asked. Apparently in all the chaos, he had slipped away.
He saw the dead serpent on the ground, frowned, and said: "Oh."
But his frown soon turned into a broad smile.
"Congratulations!" He said. "You've just defeated the offspring of The Moon Faller!"
"Wait, that was the offspring of The Moon Faller?" Asked Thor.
   Yoda nodded.
"But," He said, "The Moon Faller will be much harder to defeat."
Achilles still marveled. That was the offspring of The Moon Faller? And they had defeated it? Well, actually everyone else did, while Achilles laid on his back the whole fight.
   "Oh, dang." Said Perseus.
"Now, you shall learn the ways of the force and how to fly a spaceship if you ever need to. Then, you should be ready to defeat The Moon Faller."
   Achilles could hardly wait.

The Legends Collide (Part 14)

Perseus felt something whoosh by him. He turned to where it felt it had come from. He glanced at everyone else. They looked brave. Not a hint of fear on any of their faces. Perseus hoped he looked the same.
Suddenly, Perseus heard Achilles yelp. He looked at him and saw him thrashing through the air held by some unseen force. Arthur ran up and slashed wildly in the air. Perseus heard a screech and Achilles dropped to the ground. Perseus became more wary, looking everywhere he thought he heard something.
Thor was the next to be picked up, but he hardly even flinched. All he did was knock his hammer into the air making the thing drop him. Perseus gave him a weird look. There really was something wrong with that guy.
Perseus saw Arthur slash somewhere random in the air...at least it seemed random until Perseus heard another screech. Perseus wondered if the sword gave Arthur a sixth sense or something.
Perseus suddenly got snatched into the air. He tried desperately to get free, but then remembered his weapon. He managed to whack the hilt of his sword against the thing. It dropped him and suddenly became visible.
It was a long reptilian creature with angry red eyes and countless legs. It opened its mouth revealing several teeth, probably all poisonous.
"It seems that Perseus has banged his sword against its head, damaging the part of the brain that allowed it to turn invisible." Said Arthur.
Perseus hardly heard that as he climbed to his feet and attacked the monster. It seemed, though to have very hard scales and his sword bounced off.
"Its scales are impenetrable!" Yelled Perseus.
"We'll see about that." Said Arthur, as he charged the monster, his sword slicing right through its scales.
Mau'i joined him in giving it little cuts all over the place with his lightsaber. The monster screeched and merely seemed annoyed. Mau'i and Arthur ran away as the monster opened its mouth and snapped at them.    Thor flew up and whacked the monster with his hammer, the strength of the blow knocking the monster into the glass. The glass cracked.
   "Oops." Thor said.
"Would you quit doing that!" Yelled Perseus.
The monster got up looking dazed. Suddenly Perseus knew what to do.
   "Thor!" He yelled.
   "What?" Replied Thor.
"We need to get its head, its scales are weak there! I'll distract it, while you hit it."
Thor nodded. Perseus got ready to distract, but then hesitated. Could he do oxygenated water? He decided to just trust his uncle could do it.
"Uncle Poseidon!" Shouted Perseus, "I call upon you to give me power! Give me power to control the waters like you!"
Perseus concentrated and heard a rushing of water. A burst of water came into the room filling it up. The monster turned toward the water and roared. Its roar however, was cut off as Thor slammed his hammer into its head, killing it.
The water came over everyone's heads, but they could still breathe. Everyone stayed there for a while, exhausted. They deserved the rest.

The Legends Collide (Part 13)

Thor fought his enemy. As soon as he had seen the man who was in charge of the others he had engaged him in a fight.
By thunder! He thought. He's even better than Freya!
Thor flew into the air with his hammer above his opponent. The man looked up at him and jumped inhuma-nly high to match Thor's height. Thor immediately whacked him back down with his hammer, hearing bones crunch. Thor smiled triumphantly, but then, he saw sparks coming from it.
"Men!" He called. "They are droids. All you have to do is hit them in the back to destroy their battery."
"Really? Good to know." Said Perseus, who was right then fighting a headless enemy.
Thor observed that Mau'i didn't seem to be having any trouble with the droids. All he did was smash them with his bare hands. Arthur was slicing through them like they were hot butter with that sword of his. Thor marveled at it. It must have been powered by an Asgardian element. Achilles was being swarmed by the dr-oids and was taking hits everywhere without being fazed. He was taking down about 10 enemies a second.
Thor realized he had better get back to the fight. He threw his hammer at a big group of enemies and kno-cked them out of the fight. He landed back on the ground swinging at enemies and knocking them to and fro. Thor threw threw his hammer a little too hard and it hit the glass wall. A web of cracks spread across the dome and Thor realized they would quickly run out of air if they didn't defeat this enemy soon. So he held up his hammer and called lightning. Lightning hit his hammer and he directed it at the droids. Since they were made of metal, the lightning jumped between them until it had made each one malfunction. Everyone stared at Thor, breathing heavily.
   "That was amazing!" Said Achilles.
Thor nodded, trying to be modest.
Yoda stepped out from the sidelines.
"You have passed. Thor would now be the best choice for leader, I should think, yes?"
Everyone nodded. Perseus and Arthur regretfully.
"Come!" Said Yoda. "Awaiting, your final test is."
Everyone followed Yoda down white, winding hallways again for another 15 minutes. Perseus didn't com-plain this time, for which Thor was grateful for. Perseus was an annoying little nagger. Yoda led them into another room just like the second, but even bigger. Yoda stood at the sidelines and waited, as if he expected them to do something. Everyone stood quietly, waiting for something to happen. Suddenly, Thor felt somethi-ng. Someone or something, was in the room.
